Chirkutt single

  One of Bangladesh's best known Folk Rock outfits, Chirkutt, has launched a four single recording project that ties into the visit of singer and songwriter, Sumi's visit to Womex in October this year.

The first single has the theme of what inspired her in Switzerland where she was prior to moving on to the world music expo in Porto, Portugal. She has named the song Jajabor. It is about her wandering in the Swiss cities she visited.

The band previewed the single with a clip to go along with the recording that was released on Youtube. Something else for fans is footage of Sumi in Switzerland together with some studio footage. 

The release is officially available on all platforms at the end of December 2021 and is released world-wide on the world music label Mountain Records.

Chirkutt single - testing new territory

🍫 Bangladeshi folk rock stars Chirkutt venture into new territory in more than one way with their next single.  (c) Songwrights Publishers for Mountain Records The track titled Chocolate is their first release in English.
